Confirmed Bangkok Trip

Yeah hooray!!! We will be going to Bangkok for holidays again It will be a 5days 4nights trip, going with BIL & SIL this round.

We booked our flight through Tiger Airways & hotel (Asia Hotel) through AsiaRooms.com. Total come out to be $354.73/Pax.

This is the 1^st time for DH & me going to Bangkok without signing up with any tour agency although we have been there thrice before. So it is rather excited for us as there won’t be anyone picking us from the airport when we touched down. We will have to make our way to the hotel ourselves. (Hopefully everything will go smoothly for us)

Visit to Singapore Zoological Gardens

We visited the Zoo last Saturday (25-Aug-07) together with BIL & family. The weather was real hot then, it will be much better if the weather was more cooling. But still very thankful that it was not a raining day lor... hehe.

This is the 1st visit for Kimberly, she do likes outings a lot!!! BUT during our visit there, i find that animals dont really interest her much as she dont really paid attention to all those animals we saw. (Frankly speaking, the animals at the zoo do not draw or catch my attention as well as i find that they are too lazy or maybe due to the hot weather?? they are either hiding themselves in a corner sleeping or resting & there are only a FEW of each type).

The animal shows of Splash Safari & Elephants at Work & Play we watched don't catched Kimberly attention as well.

We have our lunch at KFC Restaurant near Children's World Play Land. After the lunch, We took a walk at Orchid Garden & Tropical Crops Plantation before heading home.

Overall, i guess Kimberly did enjoyed herself as she can run about in the zoo.

Hmm... Maybe i should organise more outings to nature reserve which i find that she enjoys herself much much more.

Our next trip shall be SENTOSA!!!!

Traffic Summon

Arghs.. received the 1st summon ($20.00) last night @ 8.29pm while in bukit panjang. Normally we will be going off from my parents' place around this timing but as i need to collect something from my colleague's house @ 9.30pm that why we stay longer. If i know "them" will be on the way, i DEFINITELY wont meet my colleague lah. "Suay"!!!

CAnteen Food

It has been quite some times since i last blog.... was not in a very good mood, feeling unhappy & moody now am having headache too.

Has just eaten my lunch in the office. These few days was eating the canteen food, find that the malay canteen vendor charge relatively high for the food i ate!!!! guess how much they charge for 2 VEGGIE with rice (cabbage & "chou dou")??? -----> $2.20 leh!!!! The portion she gave is very little also lor. If she charge $2 i got ntg to say la understandable. Although $0.20 mean not much difference but still find that she overcharge lor cos anyway it is just a company canteen. She dont need to pay the rental to our company also ma....

Maybe the canteen commitees should do something about these. (but lazy to feedback to them also la, think it dont make much differences anyway)

Siao Char Bo

I encountered 1 Siao Char Bo while driving along Jurong West yesterday. Was VERY pissed off with her actions & behaviors.

Due to a jam in my lane, I tried to change to the next lane after checking that the traffic was cleared. At the same time I also notice this Siao Char Bo car is also doing the same thing as me but her car distance was 3 to 4 cars BEHIND me yet she still HORNS at me. (Note that my car front body was already half way out)

We meet in the Red light junction, she wind down her window & stare at me signaling that she almost knocked my car. I find her very "bo liao" & simply ignored her. (Inside my heart I was like wondering what kind of driver was she. She said she almost bang into me??? Cant she just be a little more patience & give way since I already in front of her & the distance was so far?) Maybe my bo chak attitude triggered her off. Haha.

The most pissed off action by her was to use her HP camera to take pictures of me & my car side & back. What is she trying to prove or show me & what can she do with the photos she has taken?? It really puzzled me very much!! Really hope that a traffic police was there then seeing her using her HP while driving. Imagine the accidents that she can caused to others when her car was still moving while using her HP to take pictures of others because of such small little issue? Was wondering what is wrong with her also

Wait till she encountered another driver who is more barbarian than her then she will knows. Really hope that someone out in the road can teach her a lesson someday so that she will change to become a better road user.

Really a Siao Char Bo indeed!!!

Mummy Birthday

Mum, bro, sis, me, hubby & of course Kimberly went for dinner at Long Beach @ IMM last evening to celebrate my mum birthday.

We have 1 set meal for 5-6 people which includes steam prawns, roasted chicken (portion was very pathatic, smaller than the BBQ chicken we eat outside), 1 cabbage veggie, Fried chilli Lala - Da Tou, fried rice, chilli crab, sweet & sour fish & almond longan for dessert & the total bill come out to be $200

Food served was so so only not delicious at all dont really worth the money spend. (Although was a treat from my dear sister )

Was really very disappointed with the baby chair being offered by the restaurant as the chair was VERY VERY OLD, DIRTY & DUSTY!!! (Worse baby chair that i seen before) the management should really do a review on this!!! how can they provide such a dirty chair for babies / toddlers to be sit in!!!

Anyway, dont think will go back there again.

07-07-07 is really a very HOT date for couples to ROM or hold their customary!!!

We went to attend my cousin’s ROM at Changi SAF Chalet last Saturday. Other than her, there was at least 4 other pair of couples that holds their ROM there!! My cousin looks so gorgeous & sweet in her pink knee length gown!!! She slim down a lot too (Wonder how she did that? Must find out from her someday so that I could slim down too) Witnessing their ceremony made me recalled all the way back to my times -à which was 3 yrs ago!!! Was not very satisfied with my make up & gown then until NOW… look very aunty too, tat y I seldom look at my ROM photos, haha… J anyway all those already past & now me already a mum to my little girl, times really goes past very fast!!! Hopefully in 3 years time, can see my cousin with a kid too!!!

We went for a walk at Changi Beach after the lunch buffet. The scenic was not bad except that the sea water look dirty to us & the weather was very hot & humid. Was thinking of letting Kimberly has a swim there but back out after seeing the water. We walked for almost an hour before heading back to the chalet as Kimberly was falling asleep.

Evening was the BBQ but was not able to do any bbq myself as I have to look after Kimberly. Really a very long time never have a bbq le… (but not bad la got my dearest hubby to serve me!!! Haha)
